JUNE 22 BOARD AGENDAS

The Denver Board of Education has two public meetings set for Thursday, June 22. The meetings will be held at 900 Grant St.

The first meeting is a 4 p.m. work session in Room 706. The following items will be discussed:

• 2000-2001 budget
• Assessment plan
• Personnel (closed)

The second meeting is the Board's special legislative meeting at 6:15 p.m. in the first floor Board Room. Items to be considered include:

• Adoption of the 2000-2001 budget
• Real estate issues
• Personnel issues
• Teacher pay-for-performance year-end report
• Assessment plan

The Board plans to resume its work session in Room 706 for a discussion of the following items:

• English only ballot issue
• Mayor's initiative
• Colorado Education Network State Initiative to increase education funding
• Middle school specifications
• School report cards
• Educational Planning Team
• High speed data access for schools
