HORACE MANN LITERACY FAIR SATURDAY, MAY 20

Horace Mann Middle School will host a Literacy 2000 Fair with activities for the entire family Saturday, May 20.

Clowns, face painting, characters from children's books and panel presentations by renowned authors are planned. Latin music and dancing, with DJ Jack Mudry of KUVO radio, will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Salsa and merengue lessons will be provided.

Books will be sold by the Cultural Legacy Bookstore, one of the fair's sponsors. Other sponsors include the Marcia Mounsey Foundation, the Denver Foundation and the Horace Mann Neighborhood Center.
