BOARD OF EDUCATION AGENDA MAY 18

May 17, 2000

The Denver Board of Education has two public meetings set for Thursday, May 18. The meetings will be held at 900 Grant St.

The first meeting is a 4 p.m. work session in Room 706. The following items will be discussed:

  • Textbooks.
  • Assessment plan.
  • Denver Association of School Administrators.
  • Health clinic at Knapp Elementary School.

The second meeting is the Board's regular legislative meeting at 6:15 p.m. in the first floor Board Room. Items to be considered include:

  • Acceptance of a separation agreement between the Board of Education and Superintendent Chip Zullinger.
  • Adoption of new district goals.
  • Naming of the new elementary school in Green Valley Ranch.
  • Changes to the district's counseling program.
  • Designation of East High School as an Indian Focus School.
  • Construction contract for the new Denver School of the Arts.
