CINCO DE MAYO CARNIVAL AT EAGLETON ELEMENTARY WILL FEATURE MEXICAN FOLK DANCERS

Eagleton Elementary School will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a street carnival Friday, May 5. The school's dance group will perform Mexican folk songs, and a variety of carnival booths will provide additional entertainment.

The action begins at 8:30 a.m. The dancers, dressed in brightly colored red, white and green costumes, will give seven performances throughout the day until the carnival ends at 2:30 p.m. A "nacho" table will sell refreshments, and carnival goers can choose from a variety of activities, including face painting, Tic Tac Toe, basketball and a cakewalk.

Eagleton classes will spend 30 minutes at the carnival at different times of the day. Parents and the community are invited.
