CHELTENHAM ELEMENTARY TO HOST COMMUNITY FORUM MARCH 23

The Board of Education will host its second Community Forum at Cheltenham Elementary School Thursday, March 23.
The forums, designed to be more informal than the regular, monthly public hearings at 900 Grant Street, are being held every other month in different neighborhoods around the city. All community members, school parents, teachers, and students are invited.
Prior to the forum, the Board will host a brief community reception, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The forum will begin at 7:00 p.m. and run for about two hours. Those wishing to speak may sign up at Cheltenham. A Spanish-speaking translator will be available.
Cheltenham Elementary School is located at 1580 Julian Street in northwest Denver.
Prior to the community forum, the Board will hold a work session at Cheltenham, beginning at 4:00 p.m. The following items are on the agenda:
- Transportation for the new Dual Language Montessori school in northwest Denver.
- Negotiations (closed).
- Middle School program for highly gifted students.
