COMMUNITY INVITED TO SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION AND PROGRAM DESIGN MEETINGS

Meeting dates for several DPS school construction projects have been announced:

Northcentral Middle School (a new middle school to be built at 40th Avenue and Steele Street)
Construction Advisory Committee (CAC)
Mondays at 6: p.m. at Harrington Elementary School, 2401 E. 37th Ave.

Program Design Advisory Committee (PDAC)
Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at Harrington Elementary

Green Valley Ranch Elementary School (a new elementary school to be built at 4100 Jebel St.)
Program Design Advisory Committee (PDAC)
Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. at Marrama Elementary School, 19100 E. 40th Ave.

Montbello Elementary School (a new elementary school to be built at 51st Avenue and Eagle Court)
Program Design Advisory Committee (PDAC)
Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at Maxwell Elementary School, 14390 E. Bolling Dr.

The schools are part of the district's five-year $305 million bond program, which will result in the construction of nine new schools and classroom additions at 19 others.

Construction committees help decide the school's appearance. Program design committees consider the type of educational program that should be offered. Both committees include community representations. For more information, call Larry Williams, DPS project manager, at 303-575-4122.
