While I am only in my third year of being a DPS employee I have two memories from 9 and 23 years ago:
During the 1980-81 school year as a UCD student teacher supervisor I had the privilege of witnessing the masterful teaching of Sheila Feeney, Social Studies teacher at East High School. Sheila is rightfully placed now as a Social Studies methods teacher at the UNC Urban Education program for teacher preparation based at Lowry, headed by Irv Moskowitz.
Another positive memory that precedes my employment with DPS goes back to 1994 as I sat next to Wayne Eckerling at numerous charter school hearings with the CDE Board. Wayne was professional, cordial and curious like the rest of us!
